Information We Collect

After you register, you will receive an email containing a password that you must use along with your chosen user ID to access certain areas of Engaged Enthusiast Media by Beckett sites.
Please note that you must provide an e-mail address to be a member of the site and receive members-only content and services. You will not receive a password if your enter an incorrect e-mail address.
During the times you use our site(s), we automatically track certain information about you. This information includes the URL that you just came from (whether it's on our site or not), which URL you go to next (whether this URL is on our site or not), what browser you are on, and your IP address. Many sites collect this information routinely and automatically as well.

If you decide to establish a credit account with us, we collect necessary information such as billing address, credit card number and credit card expiration date.
If you choose to comment on posts and/or communicate with other users, we will collect such information about you as you choose to disclose.
Some EEM sites offer contests that require you to provide certain personal information--at a minimum, your name and email address. In some cases, you must supply answers to survey questions in order to be eligible to enter the content. The information entrants provide in such surveys verifies the entrant's identity, allows EEM to send the entrant an email acknowledgements of receipt, and enables EEM to contact winners and/or prize recipients. There are two situations in which EEM will divulge this information to a third party--provided the entrant gives express consent:
- A user may expressly choose to receive additional information from company sponsoring the contest, in which case the user's personally identifiable information is divulged to the advertiser.
- In some cases, the EEM site may host contests that are administered by a sponsor. In these cases, the information the user provides is divulged to a third party as long as the user has given express consent.
Because contest rules can vary, all information about each contest is posted during the event. All contests and sweepstakes are conducted to comply with United States federal and state laws.
How does EEM use the information you provide?
EEM uses any information you voluntarily provide to enhance your experience with our sites. Your information helps us provide interactive or personalized elements and/or create future content that appeals to you and our other users.
Sometimes, EEM utilizes information that users voluntarily provide to send content updates to users. We will not send you third-party emails unless you have chosen to receive such emails.

EEM does not control the practices of our advertisers. If it is deemed necessary and/or appropriate, EEM will disclose information, at its sole discretion, to law enforcement or other government agencies. In such cases, your User ID can be used to identify your activities on EEM sites.
Deleting or Changing Your Registration Information
If you request us to do so, EEM will remove credit card number and credit card expiration date from the membership file. Please send such requests to email@example.com.
During any checkout process, you may review and change your email subscriptions and/or registration information, including your password, name, address, phone number, fax number, and email address.
You may change your credit card number and credit card expiration date on file by accessing the Account Summary page.
If you request that we remove your registration information, your request does not ensure that such information will be completely removed from the EEM system. EEM retains registration information as a record of all site activity. Retention of such information also serves to enforce the Terms of Agreement, and to resolve disputes and problems associated with the site.
Once you post publicly on the site, you can't change or remove any of your comments.
